This may be a question that pops up into your head. Why me? Why PC? I created PC for many reasons. First, I wanted a way for my friends and I to be able to give to people who are carrying a large burden, not knowing when their next meal is, not knowing when they’ll get sick and can’t pay the hospital bill, not knowing how their children will survive. Second, I wanted to create opportunities for people to do simple, easy tasks such as giving an hour of time to assemble care packages, buying someone a burger, or making a meal for a less fortunate family, no matter their age. Third, I wanted to raise awareness about this topic.
Why not charities? Although I fully support and respect charities and their donors, I personally craved a more direct, visible effect. I love seeing a child’s face light up when they open something as simple as a toothbrush. At PC, we strive to bring happiness to places where it may be dark. Sharing love, kindness, hope and time can really make a significant change in someone’s life, and your community.
What can I do? If you happen to live in the Bay Area, you can email me and join PC! If not, doing small things such as donating blankets or money to a local shelter can go a long way.
Basically, we want to help those less fortunate through small projects and drives (toys, clothing). Our major goal here is to bring happiness, assistance, resources, and help those who may not be as lucky as others. Giving is truly an exceptional way to learn the meaning of living and loving.

From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.
