Today we went to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford to drop off our bags of books and $100 in monetary donations, as well as the $80 we acquired online. As a recap, we had gone door to door asking for new/gently used books as well as monetary donations. We would like to thank everyone who donated a million times over- we had so much fun doing this and made a huge impact on the lives of many children who now have books to read while they are in a difficult situation. Additionally, the money will go toward funding research and resources for the Children's Heart Center. As we said, we had an amazing experience through this project and it really made a difference. A huge thank you to our supporters, Ms. Slagel at LPCH and the kids who are so incredibly strong. We will announce our next project very soon :)
